All scripture is God breathed...

"Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us". (2 Timothy 3:16-17 MSG)

Profitable for teaching (what can I learn?), rebuking (what am I doing wrong?), correcting (how can I change?) and training (what new Godly habits can I acquire?).

God's letter to us!  Inspired by God, Inspiration, God breathed. Wow! Incredible that God has given us His insight and knowledge for living our lives, and it's free!

Another version reads, "so that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work". 

(II Timothy 3:17 NKJV)

Let's Start at the Beginning

A great place to start is at the beginning. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (The first verse of the Old Testament, Genesis 1:1).

God created everything including you. The scripture that changed everything for me was in Psalm 139. He knows you, everything about you, every hair on your head. He knew you before you were even born. He has a plan for you, you're not random you have a purpose.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you. (Psalm 139:13-18 NIV)

God's Help Whenever You Need It

If God wrote you a letter, would you read it? He did, all you have to do is open it!

I realized that people are looking in every direction for answers but most of the time they forget to look up. The most dramatic changes happened to me when I stopped looking around and started looking to God for all the answers.  Early every morning and throughout the day, I have developed a hunger for knowing Him better.  He put together an incredible manual for daily living that leads you to a relationship with Him.  You may have never opened it up before but it's the Bible, the B-I-B-L-E, the Book for you and me! The Bible has more wisdom and knowledge for living your life than all the self help books ever written.
